Have you ever been to a baptiste yoga? I would highly recommend it to those that have a desire to get a full body workout. This class is a mix between hot yoga and power yoga. It works all areas of the body that you didn’t know existed.

I have been doing yoga for almost a year now and have found it to be great on my body and for clearing the mind. I love it mostly for the fitness benefit of it. As, I entered this studio, everything was new to me. I honestly did not know what to expect. At Big Rock Yoga, I was greeted with a warm welcome and had to digitally sign a wavier to be able to attend my first class, which is free. I love that studios do this. This allows the guest to be able to see if yoga is for them. I walked down the hall to some cubbies that held the belongings of the yogis in the class. Here, I too left my belongings. Taking only my water in with me.

The classroom was really nice. The walls were painted and a pillar that stood in the middle of the room had a bunch of encouraging words painted down it. There were extra mats, straps, blocks, and bolsters available to use if you needed some. I brought my own mat, so all I needed was a block and a towel.

I made my way to the back of the room and laid the end of my mat near a wall. I wanted to be sure that I could see others and observe the the class. Once it began, the instructor was the lady who checked me in. She was sweet and full of energy. She was a very good instructor that encouraged even the first time attendees to participate and get the most out of their practice.

The class went by quickly, we did some flow, inversions and I definitely don’t want to forget the power aspect of this class. I found that the class overall was adaptive to the beginner and challenging enough for a more advanced yogi.

Stop on by Big Rock Yoga and check them out. You will definitely get a great workout.
