Summer is here and my girls are always looking for something cool after they have played in the sun all day. I was walking through our local Walmart and spotted a popsicle mold. I have heard of so many people making their own popsicles, I thought I would give it a try. Where would I start? I asked some of my group followers for their suggestions and one suggested to me, why don’t you put leftover smoothies in the mold? Excellent! Why I haven’t thought of this sooner is beyond me. So the next morning, I decided to look up a recipe for a green smoothie. I had just been to the market to get my produce and now I get to try it out in a smoothie pop! I was so excited. I imagine my excitement rubbed off onto my girls as they were asking every minute if we were going to start making them. 20150618_104228 Not only did we jump right in, I decided to have my girls film their very own video of these awesome pops. The recipe we use and altered to fit our non-dairy needs was from everydaygoodthinking.com. 20150618_101719 We hope you enjoy the recipe and video as much as we had fun making it. I will post a link to the video here when it’s complete.
